I don't think so rkchgo. Let's stop the political BS, I mean you don't even know if this guy is a republican, so the senseless lib attacks on him are unwarrented.
I have had gay friends, you obviously know what they have gone through. It is hard for them to come out of the closet, many try to cover it up so much, and in most cases trying to prove their straightness to themselves, that they go into gay bashing mode. I don't see how if they voted democrat you would think rationally and understand that but if they vote republican (which we don't even know is the case here) you then want to play this ficticious hypocrite card. That is not very honest, I thought you were about gay rights, not the liberal exploitation of the issue like the other libs here, sucks I was wrong.
That's exactly what I was attempting to point out in an abridged form. It seems gay bashing is okay for liberals if it is a Republican and outing gays is okay if it is Republicans. Liberals recenetly outed gay Republicans with the now infamous "List" but that seems to be okay. Spell it with me... H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-S-Y (I didn't make it flash or glow...sorry if you're disappointed) All that is being "outed" by the liberals who brought up this story is the guy's hypocrisy...and Herb, if he's a religious leader, and a major proponent of banning gay marriage, I would bet my next three paychecks he's a republican. (Hey, that may not be a lot of money, but it's a lot to *me*!) Sorry, but I have every right to question why the left gay bashes. And I answered you. The left doesn't (well, mostly) gay bash. In this instance, what you're seeing is hypocrisy bashing.

Not disappointed. To do the flash/glow thing properly means you have to have gone to a very special class. Not everyone gets the opportunity. Oh sure. We've already dragged libs, cons, repubs, dems through the mud here, and now you're bringing CLASS into it? G'z.

Can't have it both ways and if you are mad at me for pointing it out then good -- it means I have gotten you to think about it.

Not "belong to a class"...."have GONE to a class"! Bringing class into it makes it British but it could have been worse. It could have been "Caste" and that would have offended all Indians (sheet as opposed to blanked). This is getting silly and that, comparatively speaking, is a good thing!

SAYING someone is gay is not gay-bashing. Saying gays are second-class citizens is gay bashing. I don't care if the preacher's gay. Good for him if he is! Good for him if he isn't! For *me*, his sexuality is a non-issue. But don't publicly try to "keep me down" while privately doing exactly what I do. THAT, dial, is what is being bashed.

Well good then. By your definition of gay-bashing I was not gay-bashing when I said: "I thought liberals supported the gay movement." You owe me an apology.

Intentionally non-PC in hopes of breaking some of the tension and maybe diverting some Progressives Liberals for a moment or two. I mean, how misdirected would be lightning if there no lightning rods!

You accused the poster of the initial article of gay-bashing, and you haven't apologized to him, have you?

I said: "I thought liberals supported the gay movement." I accused no one of anything. I wrote what I wrote and you followed with this "Grow up and stop the gay-bashing, dial. It's hate-speak like this that shows people what you're really about."You are at the point of flat out making things up. I guess you are projecting some image of what you think I should be. Who knows? You have insulted me throughout this discourse and you owe me an apology.
