Dial, to "get it" you need to understand what gay-bashing is. SAYING someone is gay is not gay-bashing. Saying gays are second-class citizens is gay bashing.

Well good then.  By your definition of gay-bashing I was not gay-bashing when I said: "I thought liberals supported the gay movement."  You owe me an apology.

Nah, I believe your intent was the same. You accused the poster of the initial article of gay-bashing, and you haven't apologized to him, have you?

Are you dreaming?  Seriously, this is getting weird.  I did no such thing.  I said: "I thought liberals supported the gay movement."  I accused no one of anything.  I wrote what I wrote and you followed with this "Grow up and stop the gay-bashing, dial. It's hate-speak like this that shows people what you're really about."

You are at the point of flat out making things up.  I guess you are projecting some image of what you think I should be.  Who knows? Undecided

You have insulted me throughout this discourse and you owe me an apology.

When you apolgize to the original poster and other liberals for claiming they love to gay-bash.

You still have not responded to my comments that you were going for the "quick cheap shot" with your initial posting.

I have responded to you in full on everything.  You are now changing your story.  You jumped me and insulted be right off the bat right after I posted the very benign statement: "I thought liberals supported the gay movement."

All you are doing is bashing me.  I guess you could call it hetro-Republican--bashing.

You owe me an apology.

Alright. I'll give you the chance to wiggle out, if you can.

Explain to me (a) what exactly the "gay movement" is and (b) how the preacher fits into it, and I'll consider your request.

Oh, a couple more other things. Please certify to me that you don't understand the hypocrisy involved, please certify to me that you weren't just making a cheap comment to get in a jab, and explain how anyone, liberal or conservative, could or should support someone who (reportedly) has gay sex but tries to make gay people second-class citizens.

Simple enough request, I should think.

I really don't care what two grown men do behind closed doors, I wonder why the left as seen here feels differently.

The reason this is a major issue is that this guy is integrally involved in Proposition 43 in Colorado, which would place discrimination against gay and lesbian people in the Colorado state constitution.  While you may not care, a whole mess of evangelicals do, and are attempting to legislate their personal morals into state law and the state constitution, the first time in Colorado history denying someone rights would be written into that state's Constitution.

And now it turns out there is yet another instance of mass hypocracy from the people who want to use government and legislate their own self-loathing and running away from who they are.

And conservatives who are supposed to be for keeping the government out of our lives have capitulated to the religious right on this issue, and they do it at their peril, because sooner or later, they will attempt to legislate something those conservatives do care about.

REPORT: Major Right-Wing Evangelical Leader Accused Of 3-Year Relationship With Male Prostitute »

A male prostitute alleges that he had a three-year relationship with prominent right-wing evangelical leader Ted Haggard, who has said that homosexuality is a “sin” and “devastating for the children of our nation and for the future of Western civilization.” Haggard denies the allegation.

Haggard is president of the National Association of Evangelicals, representing more than 30 million conservative Christians. Time Magazine ranked him as one of the 25 most influential evangelicals and Harper’s contributing editor Jeff Sharlet noted, “No pastor in America holds more sway over the political direction of evangelicalism than does Pastor Ted.” Watch the report from Denver 9News:

Hey man, Halloween's OVER - you can take off your Jerry Falwell costume you've had on since the Foley story broke, and stop preaching to the Republicans about the EEEEEvillls of homosexuality.  I mean, what does it feel like to be a total liberal, but lecture to people like PAT ROBERTSON or JAMES DOBSON about gays? Do you get off pushing your homophobic factoids down people's throats or do you get get a neurotic pleasure out of imitating the very people and tactics you denigrate everyday?

Anybody who has been paying much attention knows homosexuals are both male, female, black, white, hispanic, Republican, Democratic and from all creeds. I think the liberal mantra is that gays are just like "straights", so why are you acting like some paranoid bible-thumper and treat every conservative homosexual in the news like a three-headed alien from Mars?

It is also no secret that when homosexuals seek political power as gays, the party that they choose is the Democrats, not the Republicans. The Democrats are the party that historically accomodates, speaks for, are shills for, and empowers militant gays, athiests, the NAMBLA gang, pornographers, and every other far-flung disperate fringe group there is. That's the way it's always been, and probably always will be, As such, your repeated futile efforts to paint conservatives with pink triangles will only inflame, and turn out the very evangelical voting base you hope will stay home next week.

Just stick to your usual diet of defending hippocrits, deviants, and losers. It's what your best at.

There is nothing for me to "wiggle" out from.  What I posted was very clear and very straightforward.  In turn, you have bashed me and have insulted me.  I have done neither to you.

You owe me an apology.

They're trying that again?  Wasn't Romer v. Evans enough of a wake-up call to Coloradopudlians (or whatever the hell they are).

For all we know this guy might be a democrat, so just as your title in this thread is, your latest lib hate attack on me is more dishonest lib morals on display bullsh!t.

Rchgo, Radiodial has never held up sick and twisted hate based double standards against gays, that are designed to take away their god given right to choose what party, politics, and issues they want to support.  Since you do believe in this trapping of gay people, you are a far worse gay basher gay hater then he could ever be.  The sad fact is that you are gay, until you treat all human beings regardless of their sexuality or political preference with the same respect for their political choice, you will forever be a lesser man than he is.  I'm sad to see your true colors, I really thought better of you.

If your checks don't come from the government then voting democrat is not in your best interest.

The facts show that liberal democrats are far more depressed and give much less money and time to charity than conservatives.

Most liberal democrats find Bush more evil than Osama Bin Laden, sick
