Two days in a row
« on: July 13, 2005, 01:05:00 PM »

I just had Chinese food two days in a row.  I usually dont do this but what happened is my boss suggested it for lunch.  I explained that I was at the buffet last night so I'd rather not.  Then he hemmed and hawed and I had to order it.  This is the first time in years that I've had Chinese food two days in a row.  I assure you I will not eat Chinese food for 5 weeks at least.

I don't know about the Chinese Restaurant you ordered from, but the one I call
for deliveries has a diet type section where you can order the sauces on the side.

I like to get steamed vegetables with shrimp..alot since I hate to cook.
But I love steamed vegetables  and shrimp.  Or Chicken.and Snow peas.. I don't get fried rice just white steamed.
Dip the Shrimp in Duck sauce if you don't have cocktail sauce or whatever stuff they give you.  Mine gives soy sauce and hot mustard too.  I have about 50 unused packets of that stuff...now what should I do with it.. Sell it on Ebay?
LOL.

I notice this Chinese place has ribs, wings..and even french fries.. I can't imagine ordering those but they are available.
Where I work we keep lunch menus in a file in the desk drawer...

Bon Appetite'  with fortune cookie...)

I was thinking almost the same thing. However in defense of this Earth Shattering topic, the original poster did mention Chinese Buffet. I try to stay away from a Chinese Buffet, because todays food at the bottom, is tomorrows food on top Smiley

Yeah, there's that particular gross reality, that you just mentioned above, that would-be Chinese food eaters need to keep in mind....and then there's the fact that some people (like me) don't really dig the taste of fried cat strips---that the Chinese menu says is "beef strips"!!!

Oh, wait! "Fried cat"........that's a Vietnamese delicacy, isn't it?? Oops! My bad! Nevermind!
