Disappointment and disillusionment are things we work hard to avoid at band camp which is why our counselors and volunteers are required to take classes in the power of positive thinking.

The power of positive thinking can make everyone happy, according to Norman Vincent Peale, and others who live by that way of thinking.

Thinking good thoughts can change your frame of mind from negative to positive and put you in a better mood which is why when I find myself wearing the crabby pants, I turn to thoughts of Megan McCormick.

Thoughts of Megan McCormick coming by and stopping for a visit are not as farfetched as they may initially sound.

Sound of Music auditions will be held this week in the auditorium so please sign up if you'd like to try out and for those of you who cannot sing, please remember there are several non-singing roles for nuns and Nazis.

Nuns and Nazis are usually never found in the same place at the same time.

The same time the Nazis show up is usually the time that most nuns leave.

Leave it to the nuns to take care of the Nazis because all you need to do is arm the nuns with rulers and make the Nazis hold out their hands.

Hands across America was a project put on by the organization USA for Africa in 1986, which led to the multi-artist song We Are the World.
