A host of others who did "We Are The World" also included Bruce Springsteen, Huey Lewis, Paul Simon, and Lionel Richie, who helped write the song with Michael Jackson.

I realized I had the time-line backwards on my last post, USA For Africa did "We Are The World in 1985, and did "Hands across America" on May 25, 1986 where there was a human chain holding hands from NY City To Long Beach CA.

Lionel Richie, who helped write the song with Michael Jackson, adoped reality tv star Nicole Richie when she was a child.

She was a child when Megan McCormick had a lifelong dream of being a running gag in the FWG.

A running gag in the FWG (or TFWG as some prefer) is not Megan McCormick because we admire her for her talent, beauty, and intelligence and that my friend is nothing to laugh at.

Laugh at Megan all you want because it's The Lovely Olivia who is the real guest star of TFWG (as I prefer).

TFWG, as I prefer to tack another post onto it, has a life of its own.

No irony there.

Its own life is how I would describe what happened to Kenrayc's last post once the maker  of the rules of the FWG (or TFWG as some prefer) got hold of it, and everyone pretended like it just never happened.

Our top drawer interns discovered the faux pas.  Never let it be said that any of them are just one of the office type girls.

Everyone pretended like it just never happened, but it gave everyone a certain knowing sense of relief when they saw what he did.

What a relief. I tried to log in last night at radio-info.com/smf like I usually do in my history bar, and got a 404 error. So this morning I tried boards.radio-info.com, and it was still here. We lost the FM talk station in our area yesterday, and I thought for a while, we were losing the FWG too. That would be  Cry Cry because I don't have all the workarounds and gadgetry that Darth has to keep it all going on, except in my head.

What he did at the beginning of the post would have warranted a memo and a face-to-face meeting in the corner office had anyone else done something similar but since the mistake was made by the Game Czar, we will leave it to the board of directors to deal with the situation.

The situation as I see it is that I neglected to bold the entire beginning clue but I did, in fact, include the entire clue so, while I do deserve a timeout, there was no harm, no foul

Got home earlier tonight to find an email that my airline (I'm flying to Florida Sunday night) is shutting down for 2 months.  Rut roh!!  So after some online research, I have rebooked on another airline for the same dates (and more money).  Still need to call the credit card company about reimbursement.  I'll do that tomorrow.

Mr International Band Camp Director, will you be available to occupy the corner office next week?
