Olivia Newton-John is going to someday learn that she is a fan favorite here at The FWG (or TWFG as some prefer) and when that happens, I bet she joins Radio-Info.com just so she can make a post or two.

No irony there.

Two Guys used to be a department store chain, but the term also identifies at least the number of guys we have observed following a bum steer, only to get mad at us when it turned out to be a ruse.

It was kind of a Domino effect; the first guy figured out that he got scammed by a troublesome meddling type.  Then he told everyone what happened, but a second guy thought he was being sent to the same place by the first guy.  And all the little "family" jumps in to the rescue of their little imp.

A ruse was something Jim Rockford was good at avoiding on The Rockford Files but every once in a while his buddy Angel Martin would get him into a jam.

A jam on the turnpike will keep you from getting to your destination but nothing will keep me from going on vacation unless another airline decides to suspend operations.

Mr. IDBC, I don't mind so much if you redecorate the corner office as long as, once I'm back, you make sure to take your collection of private videotapes with you rather than leaving them like you did last time.  Ok??    Grin

Operations can sometimes not work out the way the doctors hope.

Doctors hope is good if you are a patient of Marcus Welby MD.

Marcus Welby MD didn't violate his Hippocratic Oath commitment by thinking with his libido first, or other of today's doctor-drama methods of questionable doctor playing.

Questionable doctor playing pranks on his staff and patients is what House likes to do, but at the end he comes up with the answer.

He comes up with the answer, eventually, despite his drug-addled mind and unpleasant demeanor, but he wouldn't have to rely on drugs to make himself happy if he just watched Megan McCormick on "Globe Trekker".

Megan McCormick on "Globe Trekker" last night was in some African country and while I was watching the show, I kept thinking about how great it would be if she would come visit my part of New Jersey.
