The finest of things cannot necessarily be found on the Internet, and that includes the Encyclopaedia Brittanica, which is a better research tool depending upon the venue.

Depending upon the venue, stripping down to your skivvies and doing a shimmyshimmyshake can be either welcomed or frowned upon.

Frowned upon behaviour includes that of some who simply have no conscience at all and don't wanna hear the age old advice from Mammy.

He her husband, Miss Scarlett.

The age old advice from Mammy is usually a pearl of wisdom, but it's wrapped in a wrapper that's undecipherable, so we usually just nod along.

Nod along to whatever dmargalotti tells you this week because he is in charge this week and he needs to feel extra important

And I fully expect Mr IDBC to hold the regular Monday morning meeting even though I'm not there.   Cool

"EXTRA IMPORTANT!" screamed the label on the manila folder tossed carelessly by the little man in a hurry as he fled out the door, hoping to catch a flight to some place where Vanilla Ice is still big.

Vanilla Ice is still big when his song Ice, Ice Baby gets played during one of those Best of the 80's Weekends on your local radio station.

Welcome to our Monday morning staff meeting.  As you know I will be covering for our Game Czar, WMC who is on vacation this week.  Should you need me for anything, I will be rearranging the furniture and decorations in the corner office.  Now let's get posting people!

Your local radio station might just be one of those brand x type duds the local people recognize as such, who cruise around at night in the company car, calling it their free ticket to ride.

It is the reason we keep WFWG tuned in.  Only the best quality is found there in terms of people and music;  where the 80s means 80s music, not age, not weather, just like the 70s means 70s music, not the weather or the age of an old heater that died long long ago.

Their free ticket to ride is going to run out before too long, and then they will be left out all alone, in the lurch.

Lurch was the name of the butler in The Addams Family who when summoned by his employers would respond by saying in a deep baritone voice, "you rang".
