The other chick is a highly successful travel host/journalist/tv personality who is widely respected for her work and greatly admired for her intellect, beauty, and wholesome character.

I will kindly ask you good sir to please refrain from referring to Miss McCormack as "the other chick".  Do it again and I may not be able to resist the urge to sock you in the jaw the next time I see you "supervising" (ahem, cough, cough) the library interns.

Her intellect, beauty, and wholesome character have apparently brainwashed all of you because there hasn't been a single contribution here since earlier this morning.

Since earlier this morning, I've been two hours' drive and back, sandwiched around watching people make funeral arrangements and cleaning up for people to visit the house of my now-late mother-in-law (as of 4:30ish this morning), so please excuse my lack of contributions.

Already filled out the bereavement leave paperwork.
Additionally, there is room in this wide world for people to work in both an Olivia Newton-John Fanclub and a Megan McCormick Fanclub. It doesn't have to be a competition. It's not really supposed to be one, except that we are all competing to make the world a better place than it was yesterday.

My lack of contributions lately is justifiable, yet at the same time, inexplicable.

I'm a minimalist.

Inexplicable things are covered at most the FWG (or TFWG as some prefer) meetings.

Meetings for funeral arrangements are excused, quad, but that doesn't excuse everyone else unless they too experienced real life issues.

My condolences, quad.

Real life issues sometimes get in the way of The FWG (or TFWG as some prefer) but just know that whenever you need a break from reality, we'll be here for you.

My condolences to you and your family quad, especially Mrs. quad.  May her mom rest in peace.

"We'll be here for you" is our longstanding theme here at TFWG (as I prefer) which sounds alot like the theme song from a Friend-ly type of tv show from the 90s.

No irony there.

From the 90s on, them what doesn't do right have always been told on faithfully by the big library parrot.

The big library parrot holds alot of secrets and I, for one, am very glad he can't talk.
