The "Bat Out Of Hell" album is Meat Loaf's best effort ever.

Meat Loaf's best effort ever was probably back in the late 1970's when as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live he was introduced by Christopher Lee.

I'll always remember that introduction...Christopher was standing to the right side of the stage when he said, "ladies and gentlemen, I would like you to meet loaf".

Christopher Lee probably had his moment in the sun years ago because I've never heard of him so I think dmargalotti made it up.

I think dmargalotti made it up but he didn't and the link below proves that you are not correct, WMC.

WMC should have already been familiar with some of Mr. Lee's body of work, but he has spent several years being very busy with Farmville.

Farmville was a favorite of our late friend, Anyacat who is gone but not forgotten here at The FWG (or TFWG as some prefer).

Gone but not forgotten here at The FWG (or TFWG as some prefer), Anyacat, with help from quad, was instrumental in peer-pressuring me to join Facebook just so I could play FarmVille with them and then, wouldn't you know, less than 6 months later they had both quit the game.

I kept going, though, because I was hopelessly addicted.  Eventually, 6 farms total on 2 FB accounts. Until this past January when I dumped it altogether.  Cold turkey.  Don't miss it one single bit.

They had both quit the game for the same reason WMC quit: it was too all-consuming with no obvious payoff.

With no obvious payoff, it became more and more boring which is the real reason I quit the game, quad.

Quad racing is what my neighbour does, but I always stuck to racing dirt bikes, and in later years, mountain bikes.

That was before I got old and decided to settle down. Back when life was a bit more interesting. Back before a "fun night" meant going down to the office hours after the place closed, cardboard boxes in hand, and clearing out some of the accumulated-since-October junk on my desk, which is where I am right now!

At least I'll have a reasonably organised work area when I come in to-morrow....

I am now posting aircheck files and such on Youtube under https://youtube.com/user/oldradiotapes on an experimental basis.

When downloading any of these files, please use only the type 22 (720-P) option when available, as it provides the highest-fidelity audio (MP4/192k AAC).
