The movie, Urban Cowboy, could have been filmed at Illusions because of the high rate of posers, but I think the cast of the actual movie was much more photogenic and a lot more healthy.

A lot more healthy snacks are need to help fight the childhood obesity epidemic in this country and I know for our kids here at band camp, Miss Silkie is working on that.

Record time for me and Kenny usually comes midway through our DJ set when we put down the mp3 players and pick up our vinyl record albums or as we affectionately call them, stacks of wax.

Stacks of wax don't get much play these days but they sure do at Illusions where I hear Kenny & Dave tomorrow night will have a guest dj in the booth. My sources tell me that Miss Silkie will be around spinning food related tunes. But I could be wrong.

A guest dj in the booth at a Kenny and Dave @Illusions Rockfest usually gets to pick their own music, but Kenny and Dave always reserve the first right of musical refusal, in order to maintain the integrity and flow of the evening.
