Olivia Newton-John now has an invitation for an appearance at the summer session of band camp for whenever she can fit it into her schedule.

Her schedule is pretty tight, much like her singing abilities.

Singing abilities for The Lovely Olivia come naturally to her but not for everyone so we hope that when she visits that she will not only sing but perhaps also give some vocal lessons to the kids.

Some vocal lessons to the kids might seem like work, but one day, when they are old and wise, they will remember fondly their time spent with Olivia Newton-John.

No irony there.

Time spent with Olivia Newton-John would have meant missing out on the specially made, healthful, blueberry bran muffins, made with extra salt, the next generation presented me with, and I don't mind telling you that Miss Silkie will be working on those recipes even harder than dmargalotti knows.

Oh, I may not post as often, but I read 'em all.  Just to show that you never know how children interpret what they hear, I received the gift of blueberry bran muffins, as well as some raspberry bran muffins today.  Quite hard, no fructose, no sucrose, but lots of salt, because I was overheard talking of many of my neighbors and friends as the salt of the earth, or, as interpreted, "We heard you talk about all your salty earth neighbors and friends." That, of course, makes them special, apparently given the tone with which I spoke it at the time.  Naturally by the time the darling cherubs returned with the next muffin, the first was long gone, which merited yet another until I received help eating them.  Wink  They'll figure it out in a couple of decades when they have to go there.  How absolutely thoughtful, excellent and original.

dmargalotti knows that he is responsible for the Early Morning Contribution, either by posting it himself or scheduling someone else to do that, which means when he fails to do that, as happened today, our worldwide reputation drops a few points.

There'll be a meeting in the corner office tomorrow meeting, 9am please.    Angry

Our worldwide reputation drops a few points when band campers take note of that angry scowl on the face our illustrious game czar, which means in turn that the page gets closed on such a day as this.

On such a day as this, as beautiful as it is, most people are enjoying themselves doing other stuff rather than posting here, but we all still realize our reponsibilities to keep things moving forward.

Keep things moving forward by showing up early when you realize that it is not only Sunday, but Mother's Day, which means that dmargalotti was out shopping and had no time to appoint anyone, and then there were church and Mother's Day considerations.

I do believe, Mr. Game Czar, that you are even more the skeptic and cynic than I.

There were church and Mother's Day considerations on this beautiful Sunday, which is certainly understandable, so I'm happy that Miss Silkie and I were around to make up for the absences of pretty much everyone else.

You more cynical than myself, Miss Silkie?.  Surely you jest.  I thought I was considered to be the most cynical of the bunch.   And a Happy Mothers Day to you, my dear.     Grin
