"You rang" and nobody answered all day as I've noticed that no one has posted since early this afternoon and I can't help but wonder exactly what is going on back at the mothership.

"At the mothership" is a way some people in Bristol, CT refer to ESPN.

Refer to ESPN and I start thinking that Megan McCormick would be great at showing sports highlights.

Highlights of Megan McCormick delivering the sports news would make for some good tv!

Some good tv is what I'm expecting to see tonight as I watch the season finale of Southland.
Love the show, one of the best cop shows on TV in my opinion and probably the best I've seen since the early days of NYPD Blue. I just hate that the "season" is only 10 episodes.

No irony there.

Southland writers must come from that younger generation that just can't think beyond a certain point, and for their defense they claim that you are just playing a Hedda Hopper and Rona Barrett competition game with them, that their little stints will never be over, so don't even try to dream about their demise for more professional, seasoned people.
Just think; someday when asked about their accomplishments and achievements they can say that they were never recognized, were highly unoriginal in their unoriginality even though they have nothing to show for their own selves. But wait...the last ones who tried that didn't last either. Gone like a vapor...no one is indispensable.

More professional, seasoned people have been known to quickly rise through the ranks here at PowerWorld LTD and for their achievements, they are rewarded handsomely.

Handsomely waiting staff is probably what you won't expect to find working tables at Illusions.

Illusions are what magic is, according to Doug Henning.

Doug Henning has apparently made his career disappear too.
