Need info on the history of WXXX (95 Triple X).

Hi,

Can someone give me some help on the history of 95 Triple X? I understand that they've flipped to CHR in 1984, but what was the prior format? Also, when did they change frequencies (from 95.5 to 95.3)?

Any information would be helpful.

I believe that WXXX was the first occupant of 95.3, in 1984. Therefore, no previous format existed on 95.3.
The move to the more powerful 95.5 frequency occurred in the late '90s.....
