Wow! Commercial-Free 6-Packs On 99.7/The Fox!
« on: August 08, 2007, 10:23:21 PM »

Now, I don't have to listen to commercials between the ridiculously repetitious Pink Floyd-Fleetwood Mac songs.

I'd rather listen to commercials than listen to the ridiculous repetition!

How does gifted, talented, legendary PM Driver Mr. Bill tolerate it?

Because he gets paid handsomely!

But, inside, he (and the other jocks) can't be happy w/the repetition.

Come on, PD Jeff Kent.

You've heard this complaint for years.

Can't you play some more variety?

"Whole Lotta Led" is dead.

How about a "Twofer Tuesday", 70's @7, 80's @8, "Hair Extraordinaire" @9 & Dee Snider's "House Of Hair" on weekends?

The closest facility/outlet that programs HOH is Rock101/WROQ.

Come on!  When your job is to pick which Led Zeppelin song and which Lynrd Skynrd song to play, why change it.  When you have a playlist of 10 bands with 5 songs each, your programming has got to be easy.

Man those six packs are so 80's LOL... We had a classic rock station up here doing the same thing and it was just bad bad radio... They believed in doing classic rock the right way, but with some of those long 10 minutes songs the stop sets were always at weird times... While the other classic rock station in town was just a jammin' away... Now the six packer station is BOB and oddly enough kicking the other rock stations a$$... CC1

Mr. Bill IS legendary.

This guy has worked @number one rated 102.5WDVE/Pittsburgh, Dallas & California.

I'm sure he's paid handsomely - a lot!

You can tell that he's holding back his personality w/the Fox' restricted format.

Sebastian, the AM Driver @WCCC/Hartford, was making 125k yrs. ago!
