I thought he was hilarious. DFWPT is obviously a Jody lover and that's ok. It was obvious that Tammy Edwards didn't want to participate and Mitch Carr didn't chime in very much either. Each day has been a little different as far as who has been in the room. Today seemed to be the best mix of personas, plus Jody's people have worked together for years. The Zip Dude was thrown in with them. He's a pro and has handled it beautifully. You didn't expect this to be the same Dean show, did you? As far as bathroom humor, I didn't hear any of that.
Again, Zippo is a great talent in my book...and I think my friend ARB likes him, too.
I have to say, the show got a lot better as the week went on - and most of my listening was very early (before 6:30). --- Not so much a Jody "lover" - just appreciate the chemistry they have all developed. I think Jody's show works very well. I never expected Zippo to do the same show - but wow, early in the week, it was so labored.
I'm sure he'll fill in again. And good for him if he does.
