Northeast/New England into AL 8-2
« on: August 02, 2005, 06:43:39 PM »

I was hoping for some skip, but hadn't gotten any all day.  I go to http://www.shortwavelog.com/ and check the Kansas City Web receiver just to hear something. . . Got WBRZ-2 Baton Rouge, Louisiana from there, and while I was listening to it, my TV came to life.

Between 4-5 pm CDT:

2: WCBS-NYC (previously logged)
5: WCVB-Boston (prev. logged), WTVH-Syracuse, WTTG-Washington, possibly WNYW-NYC before these three, but the logos for WNYW, WTTG, and WAGA are very similar, so not sure.  WTTG's logo includes their calls, which were clear

88.5: WFCR-Amherst, MA w/ NPR news and local weather
92.3: UNID rock station playing Van Halen and Green Day, not K-Rock in NYC, playlists didn't match.
92.5: WWYZ-Waterbury, CT "Country 92.5" http://www.country925.com/
92.9: UNID AC station playing Chicago and Joss Stone.
