KCGY's Morning Guy jailed for sex with a 16 year old !
« on: September 21, 2007, 11:17:44 PM »

KCGY FM Laramie WY. Morning Guy Tumbleweed pled guilty this week to two
counts of Sexual Abuse with a minor. David James Geist, 46, also known as
Tumbleweed, entered a plea of guilty to one count of third degree sexual abuse
of a minor and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor. The charges carry a
maximum of 27 years in prison and a $20,000 fine. Geist committed two sexual
acts with a 16 year old and took photos of her. Judge Jeffery Donnell refused to
lower Geist's $50,000 bond. At the hearing Donnell addressed Geist "you knew
she was 16, I assume you knew there was a problem with this" By definition,
you are a danger to the community". Geist had asked the judge to reduce his
bail so that he could return to work until he is sentenced so that he could save
up money to help support his two sons.

Sad. Not only did he commit a disgusting crime, he's pretty much destroyed his broadcasting career. A lifetime of pain for a few moments of pleasure w/ a child...gross.
