Have you heard this on WJBQ?

I heard a song tonight,some of the words are"I fell in love with DJ Rob Steele," then a mention of Portland Maine and Q97 point 9.It sounded really good.Anyone know if there other stations doing this?

The song is Che'Nelle - I Fell In Love With The DJ. Artists 'customize' versions of their songs now to include DJ names and local cities to get the song played. I know many instances of these that other stations have received.

I had to do a gig up in Portland tonight, so I heard this on the way up.  Great lyrics:

"...I went to the club in Maine..."

Ah yes, great Maine pastimes.  Deer hunting, York Beach, clubbing...one of those doesn't fit.
