And until CHEAT-em does something really stupid, like say, play a Barry Manilow song during afternoon drive, Fizz-o will always hold that seat. That just what this market is diggin'.

Trust me, Radio One is doing flips in ATL because of this book.

The shine is off of Lonestar...

And Dubya's 24% approval rating is reflected in WBAP's ratings too...Looks like people are sick of hosts (Rush, Sean, Levin) who consistently pull their punches...

And Russ had a good book. He's DOMINATING.








(Well, if you consider 21st 12+ and around 15th A25-54 dominating...)

    I love it!  So, when they run the sweeper that says 'Russ Martin Afternnon Domination!' can we sue CBS for false advertising???

KSCS seems to have settled on a new low.

KTCK and KESN each off a little...off 14% combined share.  I wonder despite the enormous popularity of the Cowboys, do folks get a little tired of non-stop Cowboys talk?  It's interesting KTCK did better over the months when there was nothing to talk about sports-wise since the Stars and Mavs got bounced early and the Rangers were already too far back.  Now with a book featuring summer camp, pre-season, and the first month of the season, the ratings are off despite the optimism about the team.  Seems like this was the case last year as well.

The Spanish ranchero format on KZMP 1540 launched at the beginning of the year seems to have found some audience...the first time in a very long time that frequency has had any meaningful listenership.

Too bad on KZPS...hope they stick with it.  I'd hate to see trying something different not being rewarded and it replaced with some cookie-cutter format.  It does seem to have forced KHYI of the ratings list.  KHYI used to get about a half a share with its limited signal.  It didn't even show up this time.

Shares are down, but I've been told that KTCK retained their ratings- they still suck 12+ (15th-16th IIRC) but are #1 or 2  A25-54, close to that P25-54, #1 by a wide margin M25-54, etc...

Yeah, I guess it sucks to be WBAP. They're consistently in the top 5 and the only AM station in the top 10 in the market.

Sucking are the numbers ESPN & KLIF are pulling.
