Since the only music station I've worked was WWOZ in the 80's, my vote would have to be GSO's generic bump music produced my former co-worker Larry Beasley, it makes you want to kill someone! When oh when will Rudy Dixon take it out of the system!? I also heard that Randy"The Rotund one"Pistorius sang over the phone to my Prep Plus co-host George Pepis. POOR GEORGE!!

BIG APE,
WWOZ is the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Station, broadcasting live from the famed New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival annually. Our governance board is appointed by the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival Foundation. We are a listener-supported, volunteer-operated radio station, currently operating out of the French Market Corporation Offices.

My sister swears it's no coincidence that the #1 song on the Billboard Honor Roll of Hits the day I was born was Frankie Masters' "Scatterbrain."

"Tie me to a Tree, and Handcuff Me." Humble added that on NOE (da disco days)..I believe about a bazillion people called, horrified that we would play such a seductive song..and ofcourse the abuse of a bound up woman on a tree didn't sit well with alot of folks.  But I don't remember who sang it...I think it was one of the girls from "sister sledge".... Funniest debacle ever.

i remember that and it was a song by bonnie pointer of the pointer sisters..... that wasn't the only off the wall thing humble ever said on the air.... i
remember him saying something like (i all ways run around the house with the bone on) referring to russ bonae (spelling) who was on the air at the
time when humble was doing a remote.... it was funny at the time...
