The numerous technical issues made The Drudge Report
http://radioequalizer.blogspot.com/2007/12/imus-day-two-ruined-by-technical.html

There's a saying that a doctor should have to call his own office...

Imus should have to listen to his program on RFD or a radio affiliate......

I would have to say that the numerous problems yesterday and today were caused by the fact that the show is being done in a TV studio.  Do it at WABC's studios and it's fine...do it across the street and have TV people have their fingers in the pie and it ain't gonna work.  Lou is at WABC and can not control what happens across the street.  Show should have started at WABC Studios and TV should have followed along!

That ain't happening.  Future of Citadel rests with Mr. Imus and they ain't gonna change horses...not now, not ever!

Anyone who thinks that Imus is doing compelling radio has to be smoking crack!  He came out opening day saying that he will no longer the kind of edgy sometimes insulting radio that made him great.  Why bother...that's what his true fans want to hear.

Maybe I'm just not smart enough to get it.  When I used to listen to Imus, I knew I was going to laugh.  Now...not so much.  and the black / jewish comedian he hired...that's going to last about 2 months tops.  That voice is going to make the last remaining Imus listeners drive into a tree.

Not ever?  Bobby you have not been paying attention to the radio business for very long.

Imus came to New York and WNBC 36 years ago.  In radio terms, he's already passed forever.

If he don't deliver the goods, he's history.

The movie "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" wasn't about radio but the title could be.

Karith Foster and Tony Powell the new additions to IMUS in the Morning are simply horrible and don't add anything to the show.  It's too bad WABC couldn't keep Warner Wolf for sports.  He did very well when he was with the I Man on WFAN.  Maybe it's time to bring Syd back to New York.  As for Karith Foster, a total waste of air time.  I find her voice quite annoying in relation to the I Man's standard quality roster.  Tracy Burgess was superior to Karith's squeaky voice.  A change in personnel is definitely needed.

Maybe it's time to bring Sid (sp?) back to New York.

You mean the same Sid Rosenberg who made that comment about the Williams sisters on same Imus program? No pun intended, I believe he's already been blacklisted by Citadel...
