Thanks Robyn.. Appreciate the infor..And you are right..I always thought WTRG was a "Boss Radio" Station!

Sadly CC killed WTRG.
Then they killed WRDU.
Pretty much killing radio up in Raleigh.
As for good sounding stations, b92 here in Charleston sounds good.
As does 96.9 WIWF.
But I have noticed something seems to be missing from the audio of WEZL lately.
Oh Wait that would be live personalities.

Nothing much now for years sounds very good. You have to really go back. WQOK, WORD, WCOS-AM, WSGA, WTMA, are a few that cranked.

My Buddy, Tom Tyler was at WTMA..and that was great.. He was at WKKO  in Cocoa Florida when I was at WRKT!
