KOCD CD 103.7 live stream no more?
« on: March 31, 2008, 05:52:05 PM »

It says CD 103.7 is temporarily offline. What happened to the live stream? I wanted to aircheck it and cannot. This is the 3rd CD smooth jazz station I have been cheated out of getting airchecked. Would anyone like to trade for one?

They got rid of it several months back.  They said it cost too much.

If you're pulling decent numbers streaming, it has become very expensive since Jan 1.

That's what the Vice President told me too and that the rates/fees are increasing every year for the next 5 years. Another reason I don't like money is this - arm and leg costs for stations to stream online that's great to listen to.

Call your sorry assed snakey politician and tell them the DMCA is one of the biggest pieces of $*&t ever made.  They are always so worried that broadcasters are not "operating in the public interest.  How about the damn RIAA huh?
